The Buying Process

Here´s Goodson & Red´s quick guide to the buying process:

Making An Offer: Once you´ve found a property you like make an offer as soon as possible. If you like it other people will too, especially if the price is reasonable.

If the property is for sale with Goodson & Red just give us a call - we´ll do the rest.

Negotiating: Have a word with our staff. They´ll be able give you an idea of whether an offer is likely to be accepted and talk to the seller for you.

Acceptance: Once the seller accepts your offer you´ll normally be asked to sign a preliminary contract. This binds both the buyer and the seller into a commitment to complete the transaction within a specified period of time, and subject to some terms and conditions.

Valuations: If you need to provide a valuation to the bank, please ask us for help. We can normally arrange one within 48 hours.

Finding And Using A Lawyer: It´s essential to use a lawyer when purchasing property. Please ask if you need help with finding a lawyer.

Foreign Buyers Consultancy: If you´re new to Estonia and you have very specific requirements, our Senior Property Consultants can help you through the buying process, from finding and liaising with your lawyer to opening your Estonian bank account and helping you raise finance for your new home or investment. For a small additional fee, Goodson & Red will ensure a smooth and hassle-free purchase.
